Fernando Carmona holds a Computer System Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional of Colombia, and has had grad education in Online System Design from the Okinawa International Center (Japan), as well as in Industrial Process Automation from Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia.

His vision of simplified, centralized payment environments, has helped create multiple-capability solutions, such as online transaction processing, ATM management, Cryptography, Security, and others – all of them running exclusively on the IBM i® platform – and running seamlessly in dozens of first-level Financial Institutions across 17 countries.
